The qualities we are looking for:
- Graduates with a strong passion
- People who are motivated to succeed and eager to learn or open to learning.
- Must be good at keeping things organized.
- Can handle pressure and still get the job done, or can perform well in stressful situations.
- Great at talking and listening or strong ability to communicate with others.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office will be helpful, plus it is advantageous.

New graduates with a full NQF level 6 or higher in the following fields are encouraged to apply:
- Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or Economics
- Analytical Chemistry

- Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
- Mechatronics

The SIOC-CDT Apprenticeship Programme, offered in partnership with the Artisan Training Institute, provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for aspiring artisans in the SIOC-CDT beneficiary areas, including Gamagara, Ga-Segonyana, Joe Morolong, Tsantsabane, and Thabazimbi Local Municipalities. Founded in 2006 by Kumba Iron Ore Limited, the SIOC-CDT was created to support the development of the communities surrounding the company's operations.
The Trust primarily supports communities adjacent to Sishen Iron Ore Company’s (SIOC) mining sites in the Northern Cape and Limpopo, funding numerous community development projects to ensure lasting impact even after mining ends.

Admission Requirements:
- To apply, you need a Grade 12 qualification with mathematics and science, English, or applicable trade theory. An N2 Engineering qualification or another trade-related technical subject would be an added benefit.
- It will take 36 months, or three years, to finish this apprenticeship.
- young people between the ages of 18 and 35.
You may also consider applying for Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL). Candidates seeking access to a trade test or External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) through Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning are required to have:
- Have submitted the standardized application form from the ARPL toolkit for the particular trade you're applying for.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in the specific trade is required, with proof of verifiable experience.
- The minimum work experience can come from various documented employers or services rendered to clients in the applicable trade.
- To register for ARPL, candidates must be a minimum of 19 years old.
