Actom is excited to announce the opening of 25 positions for its 2025 Apprenticeship Training Programme in Boksburg, Gauteng. This opportunity is designed for individuals who are eager to begin their career in the industry, with no prior experience required. The ideal candidate should have completed Grade 12/Matric. Information about the Job:
25 apprentices with strong skills are needed by the Actom Training Centre for the 2025 apprenticeship program.
There are openings for the following positions:
- 4 Electricians
- 13 Millwrights
- 4 Fitter & Turners
- 4 Mechanical Fitters
Eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Must have finished the necessary trade-related qualifications (details below).
- Applicants must hold a Grade 12 certificate.
- A minimum of 50% in Pure Mathematics is required.
Required qualifications for the trade:
- NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification is needed for Electricians.
- NCV Level 4 or an equivalent certification is needed for Millwrights.
- NCV Level 3 or an equivalent certification is needed for Fitter & Turners.
- NCV Level 3 or an equivalent certification is needed for Mechanical Fitters.
Extra requirements:
- Color blindness is not permitted for Millwright and Electrical trade applicants, or applicants for Millwright and Electrical trades must have full color vision.
- All applicants must undergo a medical examination.
- Substance abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Must not be currently funded under any apprenticeship program.
