Job Outline:

Installing, maintaining, testing, and commissioning mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and equipment at the plant is the responsibility of a qualified Artisan. This includes working on electrical transmission and distribution equipment, as well as performing preventative maintenance to ensure everything operates smoothly.

Job Requirements:

• You need to have completed Grade 12 or something similar (NQF Level 4).
• You need to have good experience in both mechanical and electrical work. This is very important.
• Boilermaking skills are a must.
• A Code B driver's license is required.
• A valid Millwright trade certificate is required.
• You must be willing to work overtime and be on standby when needed.
• You should be able to work well on your own and also be a good team player.
• You should be able to recognize problems and come up with solutions.
• You must have a clear criminal record.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Minimize equipment failures and downtime in the business unit to avoid unnecessary costs.
• Set up, fix, and maintain electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment at the plant, including the equipment that carries electricity.
• Tell management about machine problems and breakdowns, write it in the daily log, and make sure the job cards are filled out correctly and signed by the right manager.
• Keep making improvements to all equipment and installation processes.
• Make, install, and fix machine parts and related equipment.
• Make sure scheduled maintenance is done on time and that the machinery works properly all the time
• Follow safety rules and health standards according to VKB’s guidelines and procedures.
• Keep looking for problems and fixing issues with electrical equipment.
• Work closely with other departments regularly to make sure the services and products are of good quality.
• Finish all required training programs.
• Guide employees to follow standard procedures to ensure quality service and reduce downtime in the business unit.
• Maintain and repair machines used for harvesting groundnuts.
• In charge of maintaining and taking care of GWK Trading's facilities for pecans, lucerne, potatoes, and groundnuts.
• Do regular checks to find and fix problems before they get worse.
• Work with other departments to make sure maintenance tasks are completed on time.

The GWK Cultural Park was designed in 1990 by the renowned artist Nyoman Nuarta, with support from Tourism Minister Joop Ave, Energy Minister Ida Bagus Sudjana, and the Governor of Bali, Ida Bagus Oka. The groundbreaking for the statue's construction took place in 1997. However, the project was temporarily halted in the late 1990s due to the Asian financial crisis.
