Minimum Entry Requirements:
- N6 Engineering Qualification
- Beginner-level knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
- Introductory knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software
Needed subjects:
- Mathematics: This subject is foundational in most engineering programs.
- Engineering Science: This interdisciplinary subject includes the study of the physical and mathematical principles behind engineering concepts.
- Industrial Electronics: This subject focuses on the application of electronic devices and circuits in industrial settings.
- Electrical Technology / Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics: These are closely related fields that focus on the principles and applications of electrical engineering.
Job Tasks:
- Maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment (including high and low voltage).
- Preparing electrical construction documents: Using AutoCAD drafting for designs.
- Tasks like drafting, modeling, and data analysis while being guided by skilled workers.
- Project site inspections: Observe and record existing electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Team meetings: Participate to check on project status, manage resources, and go over weekly assignments.
- Provide ideas for future system improvements.
- Help with equipment failures, problem-solving, and finding the cause.
- Find potential risks in electrical systems, including equipment wear and tear.
- Carry out responsibilities in compliance with HACCP and safety regulations.

Minimum Entry Requirements:
- A Trade Test certificate with at least an N3 is required; N4 and higher are preferred.
- You must provide evidence of finishing a formal training program.
- Experience in flour milling or milling work for 5 years or more is an advantage.
- Experience with automated wrappers and palletizers in packing will be an advantage.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience working with medium voltage (MV) switching and protection systems up to 33KV.
- A minimum of a Wireman’s License is required.
- Holding a Master Installation Electrician certification is beneficial.
Tasks and Duties:
- Ensuring the proper functioning of electrical equipment at the PTA Mill.
- Basic troubleshooting of field and PLC issues.
- Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting AC and DC VSDs.
- Servicing and maintaining air-conditioning and cooling systems.
- Maintaining and repairing alternators.
- Ensuring proper functioning of electrical backup systems like UPS and generators.
- Conducting maintenance on AC/DC motors (low voltage).
- Installing and setting up new systems.
- Diagnosing faults in electrical systems.
- Carrying out maintenance and installation on MV systems.
- Performing maintenance on transformers.
- Make sure all scheduled inspections are completed on time.

Position Details:
Role Purpose:
- Monitor and maintain all food safety systems effectively.
- Ensure the efficient management of all relevant quality management systems.
- Ensure timely submission of production samples for external lab analysis, compare results with specifications, and take action when results fall outside specifications.
- Identify and report non-conforming products to the QA Technologist for further investigation.
- Step in as a QA Technologist when required.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Food Science or Consumer Science, or B.Tech. in Food Technology. National Diploma in Food Technology or Biotechnology.
- Experience in applying ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 food safety management systems.
- Between 1 and 2 years of FMCG experience.
- Good interpersonal abilities – skilled in working and communicating across all business levels. Excellent team player with the capacity to work independently. Proven leadership capabilities. Familiar with QMS and HACCP programs.
- Keen to learn and develop new skills.
- Proven experience with scientific testing techniques.
- Ability to analyze and interpret results from analytical and microbiological testing.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to manage relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Proficient in PC use.
Main Duties:
- Organize and maintain a customer database that specifies the external analysis requirements and keep it updated.
- Identify and submit required samples for analysis to prevent delays in shipments.
- Ensure that swabbing is performed regularly as part of the safety checks.
- Detect non-conforming products and collaborate with the QA team for corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Identify areas for improvement based on non-conformance trends.
- Record all test results and findings accurately.
- Comply with Halal, Kosher, customer, and government regulations during audits and inspections.
- Answer any queries related to quality control matters.
- Provide ongoing food safety training for plant staff.
- Conduct hygiene audits and ensure GMP compliance.
- Perform regular checks for plastic and glass contamination risks.
- Manage and monitor allergen control systems.
- Review and ensure daily food safety checks are carried out effectively.
- Supervise pest control measures on-site.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality.
- Monitor OPRP and CCP activities on a daily basis.
- Compile and submit monthly quality reports to management.
- Conduct daily inspections of final goods to ensure quality standards.
- Train employees on QMS principles and practices.
- Ensure completion of all records necessary for internal system audits.
- Update and revise SOPs as required.
