Summary of Work:

UD Trucks is renowned in the commercial vehicle sector for its innovative products and technologies. The majority of picking and packing tasks, including line feeding, will fall under the purview of this position, which reports directly to the logistics team leader.


obligations and responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Quickly implements Kaizen
  • Carry out material handling tasks like lifting heavy objects by hand, packing, taping, labeling, and sorting.
  • Use a bin system and a forklift to move materials.
  • Inform the team leader of any missing or faulty materials.
  • Make sure that the workspace and every piece of equipment are consistently spotless and organized.
  • To adhere to and obey all safety rules
  • Follow directions from the team leader as directed.
  • Dismantling pallets and emballages for recycling
  • Adhere to legal requirements and corporate policies.
  • Examine equipment to ascertain whether repairs are necessary, and ensure safety by carrying out routine maintenance.
  • Unload goods and materials from arriving cars and arrange them in designated areas.

  • Being near an assembly line

Workplace Prerequisites:

  • Strong writing and speaking abilities
  • Proficiency in Communication
  • Basic Abilities in Mathematics
  • Fundamental Observation and Visualization Skills
  • Using instruments
  • Current Forklift Certificates
  • Capable of using computers

minimal requirements:

  • Minimum of Grade 12 in Mathematics
  • Learnership in Component Manufacturing or Logistics
  • Any further education or certification pertaining to the auto industry
