Exciting opportunities are available in the HR department at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA). We are seeking qualified candidates with relevant experience and skills for HR Specialist positions, based in Pretoria. Selected candidates will be directly accountable to the Human Resources Business Partner in the aforementioned areas.

Main Goal

Assists Regional HR Business Partners in a specific area of the region, guaranteeing proper coverage of a given geographic area within the "region"; this allows the region to meet its goals and business plan, which are in line with the organization's overarching strategic goal of long-term expansion. The position will offer generalist assistance to all business operations within the assigned region.

  • Contributes ideas to the Regional Business Partner as a generalist:
  • Agree on the business unit(s)'s agenda for people and organizations.
  • Decide upon a shared list of the specialist teams' top priorities.
  • Utilize past performance and best practices in the market.
  • Make sure the business unit(s)'s people practices and human capital are in good overall health.
  • Take part in running the business unit or units.
  • Make sure the business unit is HR procedures are carried out to the highest standard.
  • Determine and put into practice the organizational capacities needed to help business units and regions accomplish their objectives in cooperation with HRBP as inputs to the CoEs.
  • Assist the business units and/or region with change and transition so that change benefits can be realized and change practices can be more easily accepted.
  • Work together with HRBP as a resource for specialized teams to develop efficient and comprehensive HR solutions for individuals and groups.
  • Identify issues with business performance and work with specialized teams to develop integrated and successful HR solutions for individuals and teams.
  • Give HRBP input on the efficacy of HR solutions to specialized teams, and collaborate with them as needed to find opportunities for ongoing improvement.
  • keeps track of and manages the performance of the organization and provides information for the people/organization scorecard.
  • Capacity to build solid, business-like relationships with internal clients by being honest and reliable.

Skills, Experience & Education

Experience and Qualifications

  • a postsecondary degree in human resources management, or a related field.
  • A postgraduate degree in human resources, or its equivalent, would be beneficial.
  • three or more years of generalist experience in human resources
