Job Summary
As a Processor Grade G3 B2, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for executing specific work procedures within the processing department. This shift-based position requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Completion of Assigned Tasks: Carry out tasks as directed by the Process Supervisor and shift leaders to ensure efficient operation.
- Monitoring Equipment: Regularly examine equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any unusual activity, reporting it immediately to your shift leader.
- Assisting Team Members: Collaborate with your colleagues and provide assistance when required to foster a strong team dynamic.
- Equipment Operation: Turn equipment on and off as needed, adhering strictly to operational protocols.
- Handling Breakdowns: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Communication: Maintain clear and direct two-way communication with team members and supervisors, including using communication devices effectively.
- Operational Procedures: Follow basic operational procedures diligently, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Quality and Safety: Participate in safety inspections and meetings, actively contributing to discussions about safety improvements and risk assessments.
- Data Logging and Reporting: Complete reports and data logging according to standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Processor Grade G3 B2 position, candidates must possess the following:
- Educational Background: A Grade 12 certificate with passes in Mathematics, Science, and English (NQF Level 4).
